Building a North Carolina that works for all of us.

Building a North Carolina that works for all of us.

I’m running for State House in District 66.

MY CAMPAIGN PLEDGES

  • FIRST THINGS FIRST.

In the General Assembly, I’ll work full time for the people of North Carolina. No competing priorities.

  • NO CORPORATE PAC $.

My campaign is funded by people, and corporations are not people. No corporate interests.

  • WIN STATEWIDE.

If we’re going to make real progress, we need a Democratic majority. I’ll work statewide to get it done.

‘In North Carolina, we don’t face part-time challenges — so we shouldn’t have part-time representatives.’

Policy is Personal.

I’m a mixed-race progressive who grew up in the Deep South. Politics isn’t abstract to me.

I didn’t need critical race theory to learn about racism, and I didn’t need a policy analysis to know the importance of Medicaid.

So when I talk about policy, it’s from a place of shared experience. I know what’s on the line.

That’s why I’m running.
